Fake actions, virusses and all things nasty

Apparently a file purporting to be our 5 volume set has been offerered for exchange and/or download on a warez site.

The file is called “5sets.exe” but I would like to confirm that this is definitely not one of ours. None of our actions are packaged as .exe files and I would recommend that if you come across this file not to open it as it is likely to be a virus or malware of some sort.

All our files are either sent direct from ourselves at 1clickactions or downloaded from Plimus – any files from anywhere else are suspicious.

On a more positive note for a limited time we have renewed the 15% discount code that was introduced with the new site. The code is still “1click15” for anyone who missed it and is valid on all the items on the website.

Finally there is a new competion at the https://www.1clickactions.com/forum to win a $50 gift voucher. Full details are on the forum.

Requests?

A few of you may have heard about the “Pro” Actions we intend releasing later this year so if you have any suggestions on what you would like to be included then feel free to let me know. As well as new actions some of the older ones will be modified and improved. The main changes so far have been to the PopGlow actions but place your requests now and I’ll see what I can do.

When not doing the actions…

…there is always music – Van Morrison, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave etc.

Then there are the books…Beauitiful Losers, On the Road, Tin Drum.

And of course the delights of Absolut Vodka and my latest discovery Courvoisier Cognac.

Today is Courvoisier and Songs From A Room……..things must be looking bleak.

New support system and live chat

We’re in the process of adding a new help and support page to the website. It’ll be an area to raise support tickets and also get live help sometimes although the time difference between the UK and the US might limit its availablity. The new page will be at www.1clickactions.com/support – there’s nothing much there at present but we’ll gradually get it up and running.

DVD upgrade revisted

There still seems to be a few problems regarding the pricing for DVD upgrades. To clarify a little the price is the value of the DVD less the total of all your previous orders. There are still some customers who are adding to their collections by ordering several individual action sets when they could upgrade to the DVD for less money.

If you want to upgrade email me for price and if you want to go ahead I’ll send you the order details.

I’ll try and get a newsletter out over the weekend with everyone’s individual upgrade price so apologies in advance if you aren’t interested and you get the price sent to you anyhow. There should be more details about the new support and chat system as well as information regarding the downloads section of the user forum.

Weddings & Portraits – action kit.

It’s not really feasible to offer packs of every conceivable combination of packs now there are so many but several people have expressed an interest in Volume 3 and Volume 9 together for portraits and wedding photography. You can of course buy any combination using the shopping cart option already but we hope to have a combo pack of volumes 3 and 9 together over the coming weekend. The advantage of this will of course be that it will be cheaper than buying them separately.

Anyone desperate for the pack before it’s available online let me know and I’ll work something out for you.
