Unsubscribing from newsletters

Just a quick one regarding the newsletters. If you have received them and would rather not then just let us know rather than reporting us as spammers – its far simpler and far nicer.

Spam postings

Doesn’t it get a bit boring making pointless spam posts when all I do is delete them anyway?

Website update

I’ve finally made a start on the long promised website update and realised just how time consuming (boring!) the job is. Hopefully though a week or two should see a new look for the 1clickactions site. Anyone who would like to see their photos on the new site please email them to me.

Once the new stuff is uploaded we can all play “spot the broken link” for a few weeks.

Delays with ordering the actions.

There seems to be a slight problem with delays in receiving the download link after placing an order. The orders are being processed OK but in a couple of cases (2) the download link has taken longer than the usual couple of minutes. I’m still trying to get to the bottom of this but it should only be a temporary problem. I can always set up a new link if there is a problem.

1-click actions DVD

Just to clear up a little confusion regarding the upgrade to the DVD. Existing customers can deduct the price they have paid for any existing purchases from the DVD price and just pay the difference.

If, for example you have already bought several of our products the cheapest way to complete your collection would be the DVD upgrade rather than buying the actions separately. For new customers who are interested in the DVD but want to try a few actions first then you could buy one set and if you then wanted the DVD you would just pay the difference.

Hope this clears things up a little.

Competition in the forum

Now that the forum is up and running again a reminder that there is competition open until the end of April to win sets of actions, borders, textures – your choice!

just post an image on the forum in the competion section with brief details of which actions you used and at the end of the month we’ll have an open vote for the winner. When posting images you will have the choice of linking to an external website or attching a jpg to your post; either method is OK.

Forum Update Completed (just about)

The forums should now be fully functional again after the update with all the exsiting posts and images intact. There might be a few cosmetic changes to come but nothing major so  please feel free to post questions, comments, competion entries etc.

WordPress 2.5 update

Yet another update that doesn’t work properly – at least not for me! There seems to be a fairly widespread problem with attaching media files to WordPress 2.5 – waiting for an update on this one as I’d rather not go back to 2.3 so there might not be many images posted in the blog at the moment.

Mood Music

3

This is an old image worked on with a new action called “Mood Music”, so-called because I couldn’t think of anything else.

The new action is very versatile but is a step away from the “1 click” way of working.
