Time I think for a new competition.

Rules are as usual, to enter reply to this thread with your entry. Any subject but please give a few brief details as to which actions were used. We'll leave it open to entries for a couple of weeks and then open it up to a vote of forum mebers to decide the winner.

Prize will be a $50 1clickactions voucher.

This was made first buy making a tilt shift effect. Then used the spot light action. After that used new sepia and
day before yesterday actions.

I have called it "Old Ballet Shoe" and I used my photo of a ballet shoe plus Texture number 024 from the texture pack. I then used 1 click Tex action - Overlay Tex. Then I used Utility action "Make Rough Tex" and finally "Make vignette Tex".
I find it is always a surprise to see what the picture ends up like...no two are ever the same !

That would be great, lot cheaper than buying a new lens;)

You've not seen the price yet ;)

Hopefully we should have a new set of actions out in November - possibly the missing Volume 8. A Tilt/Shift/Blur action will be part of it.

Congrats to all the previous entries. All really nicely processed images.

Here's my technique:
Just some simple noise reduction in PS, followed by AcidDrop action from Vol 7 on dup at full opacity. Then another dup of Background w/ adj layer adding soft contrast via curves then set to soft overlay over 1st dup. Dup background again, but make it invisible and merge all visible layers. Ran Dramatica Warm on dup of merged layer, adj opacity to about 40% or so. Layered with another dup of background w/ layer mask filled w/ black, then painted in softly/minimally painted in the tones of the skin and lips. That's it, if memory serves me...

Thanks.

This is a recent photo that has been edited with the vaseline action, 2 passes. the dog and the walker were then erased from the top layer, leaving them with more detail. I like the lonely autumn "feel" in the image.

Back-lit macro shot of some leaves. Used the "DiscoTex (Ha Ha!)" action from the 1ClickTex volume.
